About

My Yankee husband thinks it’s odd that Southerners (he will tell you it’s specifically Savannahians) greet people with “nice to see you,” not “nice to meet you.” As I’ve told him, we’re just too polite to admit we might have forgotten we met you before. Hence, my standard reply to nice to see you is: “nice to be seen.” Better than the alternative of not being there for all the fun, don’t you think?

This blog is my musings on things I think are nice to see, generally about travel, the public relations business, environmentally-forward businesses & practices and life in general. I’m happy to be here, and happy to see you here.
